LGST123. LNER ex- Great Central Railway Class Q4 0-8-0 Loco and Tender No. 5044. In plain LNER black livery with yellow lettering. This is from a Gladiator brass kit built by Peter Dobson. Fitted with an ABC type multi-stage gearbox, unknown can motor type, Slaters wheels, extra pickups on the tender (not currently connected), and with excellent cab detail. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from Gorton Works to Mexborough in April 1909 as GCR No. 44, first becoming LNER No. 5044 and later No. 9931 (in the LNER 1946 renumbering scheme). As BR No. 69931 it was withdrawn from Selby in November 1958. £895.
