LGST127. BR ex- LMS Stanier Rebuilt 'Royal Scot' 4-6-0 and Tender No. 46131 'The Royal Warwickshire Regiment'. Paired with a Stanier rivetted tender and In lined BR green livery with late crest and shedplate 9A Manchester Longsight. This is from a Gladiator brass kit built by Geoff Stratford and painted by Paul Rusted. Fitted with a Canon motor, ABC multi-stage gearbox, Slaters wheels, and with excellent cab detail. The model is lightly used. The prototype to a Fowler design was into service from North British Locomotive Company (Glasgow) in September 1927 as LMS No. 6131, originally named 'Planet' but renamed to 'The Royal Warwickshire Regiment' in March 1936. It was rebuilt by Stanier to taper boilered form in October 1944 and was withdrawn from Llandudno Junction in November 1962. It had been at Longsight for various spells (1932, 1938, 1947, and October 1958 to March 1962). £1100.
