LDEH33. BR ex-LMS Stanier 'Coronation' Pacific 4-6-2 & Tender No. 46238 'City of Carlisle'. In BR lined maroon with late crest, quite heavily weathered. This is an older used model from a brass kit and fitted with a Canon motor, multi-stage gearbox, cast steel wheels, extra pickups on the tender, and with excellent cab detail and crew. The prototype was into service from Crewe Works to Camden in September 1939, in streamlined form, with the streamlined casing removed in January 1947. It only ever had 2 shed allocations which were Camden and Carlisle Upperby but it moved quite frequently between the two. It was withdrawn from Upperby in September 1964 and its last journey was to the West of Scotland Shipbreaking Co. at Troon. £950.
