LGST149. LNWR Bowen-Cooke 'Prince of Wales' Class 4-6-0 & Tender No. 1100 'Lusitania'. In fully lined LNWR Blackberry black livery. This is from a Gladiator brass kit, painted by John Cockroft. Fitted with what looks like an ABC multi-stage gearbox coupled to a Canon or similar motor, Slaters wheels, a little bit of compensation on the centre loco axle and the centre tender axle, and with good cab detail. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from Crewe Works in March 1916, becoming LMS No. 5673 in 1927, renumbered to No. 25673 in 1934. It was withdrawn from Stafford in January 1949 so is unlikely to have received its BR number which would have been No. 58001. RESERVED.
