LKT02. LMS Stanier 'Jubilee' Class 4-6-0 and Tender No. 5578 'United Provinces'. In lined LMS maroon livery with shedplate 9A Longsight (Manchester). This is from a DJH Limited Edition whitemetal and brass kit built and painted by Peter Callon and fitted with a Portescap motor/gearbox, Slaters wheels, and with excellent cab detail and crew. The model is lightly used and is supplied in its original DJH box with build instructions. It was at Carlisle Kingmoor by February 1936 and sometime between then and January 1948 it moved to Crewe North and probably had a spell at Longsight in-between. Its BR life as No. 45578 was at Longsight, Crewe North, Carlisle Upperby, Liverpool Edge Hill and its last allocation was Newton Heath (Manchester) where it spent just over 2 years up to withdrawal in May 1964. £850.
