CGST21. Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway Rake of Four 6-wheel Non-Corridor Coaches. In fully lined and panelled Somerset & Dorset prussian blue livery. By Lawrence Scale Models, painted by David Studley (the coaches are signed and plated on the underside). Comprising (1) Full Passenger Brake/Luggage Van No. 4. (2) First/Third Composite Coach (2 First compartments, 2 Third compartments) No. 19. (3) All Third Coach (5 compartment) No. 54. (4) Third/Luggage/Brake Coach (2 compartment Third) No. 82. The models are lightly used. My understanding is that the Midland Railway provided the S&D locos and the LSWR provided the rolling stock and infrastructure. Although I have so far not traced the individual prototypes, the All Third coach bears a strong resemblance to an LSWR 30ft All Second of which a number were built between 1882 and 1890. SOLD.
