LWA12. Great Central Railway Robinson 'Jersey Lily' 4-4-2 'Atlantic' and Tender No. 358. In fully lined Great Central green livery. This is from a Gladiator brass kit built by Dave Murdoch of Bristol and painted by Alan Brackenborough. Fitted with Alan Harris (AGH) turned steel wheels, an ABC multi-stage gearbox with a Canon motor, compensation on the centre tender axle, American pickup system, and with excellent cab detail and crew. Additionally fitted with DCC (no sound) using an ESU chip (address 358). The model has been very lightly used mainly as a display case model. The prototype was into service from Gorton Works in 1906 as a 'simple' Atlantic, converted to 'superheated' in May 1920. It was renumbered by the LNER to No. 5358 in 1925 and again in the LNER 1946 renumbering scheme to No. 2921. It was assigned BR No. 62921 but this was never applied and the loco was withdrawn from Boston (Lincs) in April 1948. RESERVED.
