LGST114. BR ex- GWR Collett ‘King’ Class 4-6-0 and Tender No. 6000 ‘King George V’. Fitted with a with double chimney and In BR lined green with late crest and shedplate 81A Old Oak Common. This is a brass model by Sancheng for Tower Brass , professionally painted and finished by Warren Haywood with light weathering most noticeably on the chassis, and with very good cab detail. The model is lightly used and is supplied in its original box. It will go round quite tight radius curves (5ft radius, possibly less). The prototype was into service from Swindon Works as early as June 1927 at a cost of £6383. Its BR allocations were as expected Plymouth Laira, Bristol Bath Road and Old Oak Common where it spent its last 10 years in service. After a long life it was withdrawn from Old Oak Common in December 1962 for subsequent preservation (presently at Swindon GWR museum). £1195.
