LRJ11. BR Class 40/English Electric Type 4 Main Line Diesel No. D276. In BR green livery with small yellow warning panels. This is from a Just Like The Real Thing (JLTRT) resin and brass kit and is fitted with twin motor bogies using Buhler motors driving JLTRT gearsets. The model has had some use and two sanding pipes are detached and missing and one is detached and present. Also it is wired positive to negative (so 'forward' on the controller is 'reverse' and vice versa). It requires wide radius curves due to the large bogies with limited swing, and the twin motors make it noisy (but it sounds authentic). The prototype was into service from English Electric Vulcan Foundry in May 1960 to York. It became TOPS No. 40 076 in March 1974 and was withdrawn from the Liverpool Division in April 1983. £395.
