LGST135. BR Ivatt Standard Class 2MT 2-6-0 Loco and Tender No. 46523. In lined BR green with late crest and shedplate 89B Brecon (to 1959) or Croes Newydd (1961 - 63). This is a brass model by Sancheng for Finescale Brass and is fitted with a compensated chassis and excellent cab detail. The model is lightly used and is supplied in its original box with instructions. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works to Oswestry in March 1953, hence the green livery is entirely appropriate (only Swindon turned them out in green). It spent 10.5 years on the Cambrian section (Oswestry, Brecon, Machynlleth) moving to Newton Heath in August 1963 then Aintree in June 1965 from where it was withdrawn in May 1967. Its allocation at Brecon was from April 1953 to January 1955 at which time the early tender crest would have been in use. £995.
