LST14. BR ex-LMS Stanier Rebuilt Royal Scot 4-6-0 & Tender No. 46152 'The King's Dragoon Guardsman'. In lined BR green livery with early crest, lightly weathered, and shedplate 14B Kentish Town. This is a factory built model by Sancheng for Finescale Brass and is fitted with compensation on all driving and tender axles and with excellent cab detail. The model is lightly used and is supplied in its original box. The unrebuilt prototype was into service from the North British Locomotive Company, Glasgow, in August 1927 as LMS No. 6152. This is the loco which 'swapped' identities with No. 6100 'Royal Scot' for the 1930's tour of America as No. 6100 was not in the best of condition at the time. The changeover was never reversed so today's preserved 'Royal Scot' is the original No. 6152. The loco in service as No. 6152 from 1933 was rebuilt in Stanier taper boilered form in August 1945. It became BR No. 46152 in 1948 and was withdrawn from Carlisle Kingmoor in April 1965. It had been at Kentish Town from November 1957 to July 1958. £1195.
