LGST155. BR ex- Southern Railway ex- SE&CR Wainwright 'P' Class 0-6-0 Tank Loco No. 31556. In plain BR black with early crest and with a hint of light weathering. This is from a brass kit and fitted with a Mashima or similar motor, worm & wheel drive, Slaters wheels, and with good cab detail. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from Ashford Works in February 1909 probably as South Eastern & Chatham Railway No. 1556 (this was certainly its Southern Railway number). It became BR No. 31556 in 1950 and was withdrawn from Brighton in June 1961. £425.
