LGST157. LMS ex- London & North Western Railway Webb 'Coal Tank' 0-6-2 No. 7841. In plain LMS black, lightly weathered, with shedplate 6A Chester. This is from a brass kit built by Ken Mason and painted by Paul Rusted. Fitted with a Mashima or similar motor, worm & wheel drive, Slaters wheels, compensation on the centre driving axle, removable roof, and with very good cab detail and crew. The model is lightly used and the worm & wheel drive is slightly noisy. The prototype was into service from Crewe Works in February 1897 as LNWR No. 180. It became LMS No. 7841 in 1928 and was withdrawn from Abergavenny in February 1948. £595.
