LGST148. BR ex-LMS Stanier Class 8F 2-8-0 Loco & Tender No. 48477. Paired with a Stanier welded tender and in plain BR black with late crest and shedplate 3A Bescot. This is from a Gladiator brass kit and is fitted with an ABC gearbox coupled to a Canon or similar motor, Slaters wheels, and with excellent cab detail. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in June 1945 as LMS No. 8477, becoming BR No. 48477 in May 1950. It was a long term Bescot loco from July 1951 to February 1966 and was withdrawn from Tyseley in September 1966. £1195.
