LRG30. GWR Collett 'Prairie' 2-6-2 Tank Loco No. 4591. In GWR plain green livery with shirtbutton/roundel crest as used circa 1934 to 1942. This is from a CRT brass kit, probably built and painted by them. Fitted with a single stage gearbox coupled to a Mashima motor, Slater's wheels, removable roof, and with very good cab detail. The model is supplied in its original box having been lightly used. It would benefit from extra weight being added for greater pulling power. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in March 1927. I have no GWR allocations from before March 1947 when it was at Plymouth Laira, staying there until June 1963. It then went to Yeovil Town for a year until july 1964 moving from there to Swindon from where it was withdrawn less than a month later. £395.
