LRS20. BR ex-Southern Railway ex-LB&SCR 'Brighton Atlantic' 4-4-2 & Tender No. 32426 'St. Alban's Head'. In BR lined black with early crest and shedplate 75A Brighton. This is from a Gladiator brass kit built and painted by Keith Blake. Fitted with an ABC type multi-stage gearbox (not sure of the motor type), Slaters wheels, extra pickups on the pony truck, and with very good cab detail. Additionally fitted with DCC (no sound) using a Zimo chip (address 2426). The model has had medium use. The prototype was into service from Brighton Works in January 1912 as LB&SCR No. 426 becoming Southern railway No. B426 at the grouping then No. 2426 in 1931. It was named under Southern Railway ownership. As BR No. 32426 it was withdrawn from Brighton in August 1956 having been there since November 1950. £895.
