BR ex-LMS Stanier 'Black 5' 4-6-0 & Tender No. 45196 — Steamline Ltd.

LRS22. BR ex-LMS Stanier 'Black 5' 4-6-0 & Tender No. 45196. Paired with a Stanier welded tender, with a combined dome and topfeed, and in lined BR black with early crest, weathered. This is from a Javelin brass kit built by Roger Scanlon and believed to be painted by Paul Moore. Fitted with a Canon motor, ABC type gearbox, Slaters wheels, extra pickups on the tender, and with very good cab detail. Additionally fitted with DCC and Sound using an ESU Loksound chip (address 5196). The model has had light to medium use with a few minor paint blemishes. The prototype was into service from Armstrong Whitworth (Newcastle) in October 1935 as LMS No. 5196 becoming BR No. 45196 in 1948. It was withdrawn from Rose Grove in December 1967 having earlier been a long term Warrington (Dallam) resident. £795.
