LMF25. LNER ex- Great Central Robinson Class D11 'Director' 4-4-0 and Tender No. 5505 'Ypres'. Great Central Class 11F. In lined LNER black livery. This is kitbuilt in brass and fitted with an ABC gearbox (with what looks like a Maxxon motor), Slaters wheels, and good cab detail. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from Gorton Works in December 1922 as GCR No. 505, becoming LNER No. 5505 in 1924 and later renumbered to LNER No. 2669 in the 1946 renumbering scheme. In 1949 it became BR No. 62669 and was withdrawn from Sheffield Darnall in August 1960 (although records suggest it was little used by Darnall having been in store at Staveley, along with other D11's, since at least May 1959). £750.
