CEJ22. GWR Clerestory Corridor Composite (First/Second) Coach No. 1416. In circa 1898 to 1908 period GWR fully lined and panelled chocolate and cream livery, to GWR Diagram E53 (3 First Class Compartments, 3 Second Class Compartments, 4 Lavatories). This is a brass model by SMT Models of Korea for Lee Marsh Models and these are probably the finest model coaches in ‘O’ gauge introduced since finescale modelling began. Complete with interior compartments with accurate buttoned seats, luggage racks, mirrors, over-seat illustrations, period no-smoking signs and accurately painted panelling. Also having working LED internal lighting, an exquisite paint finish with period lining, ball races on each wheel set and a highly detailed underframe. The model is lightly used and is supplied in an original Lee Marsh box (the label has been changed to reflect the contents), with instructions. It has the orginal screw couplings fitted but with a set of Lee Marsh easy couplers also included. Note that 1 vacuum or steam pipe is missing. £1000.
