CEJ14. Pullman 'K' Series Third Class Brake Parlour Car No. 78. In Pullman livery with grey roof as running post-war. This is a brass model by Golden Age Models from their first series of Pullmans. With working interior lighting, opening doors and glass windows. The model is very lightly used and is supplied in its original box with instructions. The prototype was one of 4 Pullman cars constructed specifically for the 'Queen of Scots' service in 1928 (Cars 77 - 80). It seems to have continued on East Coast services through the war years (but running as a non-Pullman vehicle) and into BR days right up until 1965 when it was withdrawn and condemned. As well as ‘Queen of Scots’ these will have included the ‘Tees-Tyne Pullman’, ‘West Riding Pullman’ and ‘Harrogate Sunday Pullman’. £350.
