LPAL04. BR ex-Southern Railway ex-LSWR Adams Class G6 0-6-0 Tank Loco No. 30266. In BR plain black livery, weathered, with early crest. This is from a brass kit and fitted with a multi-stage gearbox, Mashima or similar motor, Slaters wheels, removable cab roof, and with good cab detail and crew. Additionally fitted with DCC and Sound using a Soundtraxx chip (address 3026). However there is a DCC/DC changeover switch under the chassis which allows DC running with no sound. The model has had medium use and although running fine the front right electrical pickup needs attention. The prototype was into service from Nine Elms Works in October 1894 as LSWR No. 266, retaining its number through Southern Railway days and becoming BR No. 30266 in 1949. It was withdrawn from Salisbury in May 1954 having spent its last 3 years there. £495.
