LMF24. LNER Gresley Class N2 0-6-2 Tank Loco No. 2689. In lined LNER black livery. This is from a Rising Star brass kit and is fitted with a Buhler motor, heavy duty single stage gearbox, Slaters wheels, compensation on the leading and trailing driving axles, and with good cab detail. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from The Yorkshire Engine Company in February 1929 as LNER No. 2689, renumbered to No. 9595 in the LNER 1946 renumbering scheme, and subsequently BR No. 69595. It was withdrawn from Parkhead shed in Scotland in October 1957. SOLD.
