LRS16. BR ex- LNER ex- Great Northern Gresley Class 'N2' 0-6-2 Tank Loco No. 69521. In lined BR black with early crest, heavily weathered. This is kitbuilt from a brass kit and fitted with a Canon motor, multi-stage gearbox, solid cast wheels and with excellent cab detail and crew. Additionally fitted with DCC and sound using an ESU Loksound chip (address 9521). The model is lightly used and will negotiate quite tight radius curves. The prototype was into service from North British Locomotive Company (Glasgow) in February 1921 as GNR No. 1742. It was renumbered by the LNER to No. 4742 in 1924 and again to No. 9521 in 1946, subsequently becoming BR No. 69521. It spent the 1950's at Kings Cross going to New England in August 1959 from where it was withdrawn in June 1961. £495.
