LRS08. BR ex- GWR Collett Class '14xx' 0-4-2 Autotank Loco No. 1470. In lined BR black with 'British Railways' in full as running circa 1948/1949, weathered, and shedplate 83A Newton Abbott . This is a brass model by Sancheng for Tower Brass and fitted with compensation on the leading axle and with excellent cab detail and crew. Additionally fitted with DCC and sound using an ESU Loksound chip (address 1470). The model is lightly used and supplied in its original box. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in April 1936 to Newton Abbott as GWR No. 4870 being renumbered to No. 1470 in November 1946. it spent almost all of its life at Newton Abbott moving to Exeter in May 1961 from where it was withdrawn in October 1962. £475.
