LPS13. BR Riddles Standard Class 3MT 2-6-0 Loco and Tender No. 77014. In BR lined black with late crest, lightly weathered, and shedplate 70C Guildford. This is from a brass kit believed to be by Scotia Design Models, built by Scottish Scale Locomotive Works with their maker's plate on the underside. Fitted with a single stage gearbox, Mashima or similar motor, Slaters wheels and with very good cab detail and crew. The model is lightly used and is a smooth and quiet runner with excellent slow speed performance. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in July 1954 to Darlington shed, staying at various sheds in the North East until moving to Stourton (Leeds) in September 1963. It went to Northwich in November 1964 then Guildford in April 1966 from where it was withdrawn in July 1967. RESERVED.
