LQL21. LMS Stanier 'Jubilee' Class 4-6-0 and Tender No. 5564 ‘New South Wales’. In lined LMS maroon livery with insignia in 1930’s gold shaded black, and with shedplate 22A Bristol. This is from a Chowbent brass kit and fitted with a Portescap motor/gearbox, Slaters wheels and with excellent cab detail. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from The North British Locomotive Company, Glasgow, in August 1934. It was almost certainly used on Bristol to Birmingham/Nottingham/Sheffield/Leeds services in pre-war days. It became BR No. 45564 in 1948 and was withdrawn from Newton Heath (Manchester) in August 1964 but this looks like a 'paper' move as it had been at Leeds Holbeck from 1953 to 1964 and its last run in revenue earning service was probably from there. £995.
