LNM01. An excellent model by Tower Brass/Sancheng of Great Western Railway ‘Castle’ 4-6-0 No. 5018 ‘St. Mawes Castle’ with original tall chimney. In GWR lined green with ‘Great Western’ on tender as per 1930s livery. Excellent cab detail. Possibly lined and finished by Warren Haywood. Supplied in original box. Test run only. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works to Old Oak Common in July 1932 and was withdrawn from Reading in March 1964. £1200.
