Fine Quality Model Railways in Gauge 'O' and Gauge '1'
A superb model by Masterpiece Models of GWR ‘Castle’ 4-6-0 No. 5076 ‘Gladiator’. Limited Edition number 104 of 111 produced (but this is the only example of 5076 in this livery). This is GWR lined green with shirtbutton emblem on the tender as introduced in June 1934. All the usual Masterpiece refinements including working inside motion and fabulous cab detail. The model is supplied in original box but without manual, gloves or additional detailing parts and has been lightly used. This model is DC only. The prototype was originally named ‘Drysllwyn Castle’ entering service in August 1938 at Exeter, renamed to ‘Gladiator’ in January 1941. After many depot changes it was withdrawn from Southall in June 1964. RESERVED.
