Fine Quality Model Railways in Gauge 'O' and Gauge '1'
A stunning model by Finescalebrass/Sancheng of a GWR ‘City’ class 4-4-0 No. 3712 ‘City of Bristol’. In GWR lined green with black frames, painted and finished by Conrad Cooper. Superb cab backhead detail and working inside motion. This is one of Churchward’s class of 20 express passenger locos introduced in 1902 and known as the ‘City’ or ‘3700’ class (although they were originally numbered in the 3400 series and renumbered in 1912). The prototype was built in May 1903 as number 3435 and withdrawn from Reading in May 1931 thus outlasting ‘City of Truro’ in service by 2 months. This is a pre-owned model which has not had any use, supplied in original box. £1550.
