A very good lightly used example by Heljan Models of a BRCW ‘Type 2’ (later Class 26) diesel loco. This has detailed cab interiors, working roof fan, twin 5-pole motors, headcodes with directional lights, directional tail lights. Supplied in original box with paperwork and accessories. Additionally it has been fitted with a high quality Loksound ESU DCC/sound chip (address 3). One of the ventilator grill side panels has been removed at some time and refitted with some minor overspill of glue. The Sulzer powered prototypes were introduced from Birmingham Railway & Carriage works from 1958 in number range D5300 – D5346.
