CDH05. A Fine Model by Golden Age of BR Pullman ‘K’ Class Bar Car 'The New Century Bar'. These highly detailed brass models were factory built in brass in Korea and have been unavailable for some time. Fitted with interior lighting, opening doors and glass windows and also has roller bearing axles fitted. With grey roof so representing a Pullman Car as running in post-war BR days. This is from the first series of Pullman Cars produced by Golden Age and is supplied in original box, the model is lightly used. This coach was originally constructed as 'Octavia' in 1929 and went through many conversions and name changes (including 'Diamond' and 'The Trianon Bar') during its life. In 1946 it became 'The New Century Bar' for service on 'The Golden Arrow' and ran as such before being renamed as 'Diamond - The Daffodil Bar' in 1955 for service on 'The South Wales Pullman'. £550.
